Hallo,
can I also edit (cut und join) Videos und Audios with VLC? Ist it possible to seperate the Video- and Audiopart on different files and/or to join them?
When it is not possible now, is there some plannings in this direction?

Separating, yes, using the stream output.
Joining, yes but only if the timestamps are consistent across both input files.
