m2ts files skippin bad any advice?

first id like to say you rock vlc up until now ive had no probs with it at all, zip,nada lol anyways i recently got a m2ts file (bluray) and when i play in vlc it skips and freezes real bad all the way throu. i dont have a bluray player thing on my labtop im thinkin thats prolly the problem but really i can go back to watchin regular movies i was just checkin out the new files but i would like to stick with it so do you got any advice on how to stop the skippin?

There are chances that you don't have the required hardware for playing such files. They are very CPU and bandwidth demanding.
You may want to try a nightly build and to use DXVA but your graphics card must be quite recent.
