Opening Multiple Streams

Hello, I am new to VLC but have been using cisco iptv application for testing and general
multicast investigations.

With iptv there is a multicast stream for the video and a seperate multicast stream for
the audio.

I'm sure I'm being thick but only seem to be able to open one stream at a time with VLC,
so is there a way to open multiple streams at the same time so that I get the video and
audio simultainiously ?

Thanks

File Menu: Media: Open Media: Network: Show More Options: Check Play another media synchronously: Browse: (This opens another Open Media dialog box) Network: Add second file: Add primary file, secondary file should be there already. Press Play.

This is all theory, I've never used the feature but people keep posting about it and I thought I would take a look at it.
