Audio fades in and out / static noise

Tried to search and came up with nothing perhaps im not very good at articulating my problem :?. but here it goes.

Basically ive got a bunch of different audio files all in FLAC. Anytime i try to play these files in VLC it sounds like someone is turning the volume up and down. The music is coming directly from EAC and isn't showing errors in it being checked.

Also occasionally (especially with ambient music e.g. tycho, and emancipator) it sounds like there is a ruffling noise in the background, audio interference, or blown speakers. I hope those 3 terms give you an idea of what the noise sounds like, however i know my speakers arent blown i can still blast music in iTunes, Winamp, even youtube.

Does anyone have any recommendations for problem solving this issue? I just want to enjoy nice high quality music . Frequency issues? Audio settings in windows? Audio settings in VLC?

This issue has been taking place since i started using VLC a few days ago, i was never into FLAC until i got new speakers  So it isnt an issue that just spontaneously started happening one day its always been that way for me and im tired of skipping tracks that keep 'weirding out'!

Thanks in advance for any help.

Is your CPU overclocked or anything? Can you try to increase the caching?

Yes i have the same problem with regular MP3 songs, AVI have no problem and i havent OC'D or the sort, maybe Codecs are messing with each other?
K-Lite Codecs and the VLC ones?....also i have a seperate XVID one thus maybe thats whats causing the AVI's to run fine?

I'm talking bout the latest VLC though, 1.1.
