Hi
I downloaded a movie file in the .avi format. when i play it in vlc player, no video appears, but the trackbar keeps proceeding.
Codec details says that the file is an audio file, codec : mpga, channels : stereo, sample rate 24000 and bitrate 64. Windows media player doesn't play it saying that the codec is not supported. Don't know what to do.

No, it doesn't play the audio either. The media information says that it is an audio file, that's it. No video. I downloaded it on limewire, you can get it from there if you want to.
