Taskbar popup while using controller in fullscreen

Hi,
Why does the taskbar always come up while using (play, pause, seek) the full screen controller in full screen?
And why isn't the controller in the middle of the screen? It's at the bottom right.
Thanks.

And you can move the controller.

Hi,
I'm on Windows 7. But this problem also existed on Vista & XP, VLC 1.0.3.
Thank you.

No, the problem is only on Win7 so far.

I'm pretty sure it also existed on Vista because that's what I was running before Windows 7.
Thanks.

Just drag the controller up slightly away from the taskbar with the mouse guys. VLC remembers where you left it!

That's not the problem. The problem is when you are watching anything in fullscreen and you use the controller then the taskbar comes up for no reason.

Indeed, but at least moving the controller away from the 'taskbar area' at the bottom of the screen enables me to use the controls when that happens. Clicking on the fullscreen playback with the mouse then brings it back to the front and you lose the taskbar. I can live with that...
