vlc and direct show help

i have the matrox rtx 100 extreme board and premiere and i am using windows media player to output a list of videos on an external monitor like a video server, but i would prefer using vlc to do so. the thing is the matrox rtx100 needs the player to support directshow and using vlc i can hear the ausio come thru but not the video. Is there a driver or a way to get directshow with vlc PLEASE? ANYONE!!!
