how do i uninstall vlc?

how do i uninstall vlc from computer w/windows vista home premium? there was no uninstall file downloaded w/vlc and vlc won't come up in "programs" in control panel for uninstall.

If you installed it with the official installer, there is an uninstall option.
If you installed it with the ZIP, then just remove the directory you unpacked it into.
If you used a third party installer, ask from the third party for the procedure.
