Hi.
I did a search but couldn't find my problem which is:
In firefox the plugin loads but shows the message "Waiting for video" forever, the video never loads.
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit if that helps.
Anyone else has this problem or maybe even the solution?

Thank you

I encountered this problem (waiting for video) when trying to play an xspf playlist in a web page. As a work around I downgraded VLC to 0.9.9.a and it worked fine.

Is there a fix with the more recent versions of VLC?

Regards

Subject: not working-> VLC web plugin for intel macbook
Hi VLC team,
I have kept waiting for a vlc web plugin which works on Firefox for streaming window media format video.

I am using Mac OSX10.5.8 (intel based MACBOOK, 2.16 GHz, 1GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, bought in October ,2007)
I have to use the vlc-web-plugin-0.8.6i-intel. Problem with 0.8.6i is that Firefox crashes first and then second time you can watch your favourite stream.
VLC web plugins released since 0.8.6i version does not work, video does not stream, video does not become visible and there is no audio as well.

I am giving you a stream link which you can see with 0.8.6i but not with any of the later version including 1.0.5.

If you can watch the above TV stream without any trouble on a Macbook(intel based) please let me know how did you do it. I want to know if there is any other way of watching the above link.

Thanks,
Ritesh
