sorry, but in 1.0.2 version i can not find the required option (preferences->interface-> fullscreen controller). there is only "show a controller in fullscreen", but it's not something that should. May be i can not accurately describe what I want to disable. Please, look at the picture:

I tried to disable it in the first place (Preferences -> Subtitles & OSD -> Enable OSD), but this option does not apply to this progress bar.

Let me explained the reasons - I like VLC, but I can not use it because of this progress bar, as I watch the sport program and often use jump, and on this bar i can determine how much time is left to the end of the match and as a consequence of whether overtime. Maybe it makes sense to do it off by default.

PS: sorry for my English (i use online translator).

BR, Igor.

Excellent. "VLC media player developer" does not know how to disable the option in its program. All the same: MPC - the best player.

People are not your slave answering your requests anytime you want it.
If deactivate OSD doesn't work in fullscreen, then it is a bug.

Indeed it is a bug and it will be fixed in a next version.
