Playing Intra Pictured based Prediction MPEG4

I'm trying to decode a video source which is codec with a non Iso Standard Intra Pictured Based Prediction MPEG4. That means, all the P pictures are referenced to the last I picture, instead of being referenced to the last picture (either P or I). Is there any possibility to do it with VLC? Any hide configuration setting?
