40 seconds of music skipped from an OGG Vorbis

(Note that the trac is down, otherwise I'd post this there)

VLC skips about 40 seconds of this song.

The ogginfo output:

Code: Select all

Processing file "bg.ogg"... New logical stream (#1, serial: 39ea0c37): type vorbis Vorbis headers parsed for stream 1, information follows... Version: 0 Vendor: Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20090709 Channels: 2 Rate: 44100 Nominal bitrate: 45.000000 kb/s Upper bitrate not set Lower bitrate not set User comments section follows... title=Flute Loops artist=Ben L. (Nightgunner5) album=Musical Fruit tracknumber=5 Vorbis stream 1: Total data length: 669843 bytes Playback length: 2m:39.000s Average bitrate: 33.702701 kb/s Logical stream 1 ended
VLC says the song is 1:59 long, and skips the repeat. The OGG does in fact have the music in it, because I can convert it to wav or mp3 using oggdec and ogg2mp3 and the whole song will play.

This song was made into OGG using oggenc on quality -1.

What version is this? I think we already fixed that bug...

1.0.1 Goldeneye. Until today, check for updates was telling me that there were none available. I'll see if the new version fixes it.

Edit: Nope, the missing repeat is still missing.
