DVD Playback ?s

Couple of DVD playback questions:

1. Can we bookmark DVDs yet? I mean, if will the bookmarks keep after I eject the DVD, shutdown my pc, etc.?

2. Can we do "A-B Repeat" with VLC?

3. Now that I think of this, is it possible to do either of the above with regular files, too?

Hey, thanks. I'll look up the A-B repeat in the wiki. Only other question is why after all this time do we still not have the ability to bookmark DVDs? Honestly, Windows can log what you do with every disc you pop in your optical drive (each has its own serial #), why haven't the developers tackled this? Maybe I should put a request for it in the request forum.

Actually, I'm not finding an A-B repeat. You can save bookmarks and then use the "F" keys to play them back, but I can't find an actual A-B repeat. Am I missing something?

View > Advanced controls. Now there should be a A-B repeat button on the player, along with a snapshot, record, and frame by frame button. Or... You can customize interface and add an A-B repeat button.

Great! My only problem is I have alot of MPEG2 files, and it doesn't seem to work with those. Can't win them all, I guess. Thanks again.
