It won't run after a certain point

Postby evil_bacteria » 18 Sep 2009 00:51

On many movies I've downloaded, ranging from 80s to 90s, VLC will run it fine until a certain point, usually forty or fifty minutes in, and then...nothing. It just stops. I can move the progress tab wherever I want, but the movie won't play.

What I noticed today is that if I turn on fast forward, it WILL play, but of course it's stupid to try and watch a movie in fast forward. It's happened on more than one movie, and sometimes long before the 40-minute mark. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Do you mean using Ctrl+T? It does not.
