Yellow and Red Numbers

Just recently, these yellow and red numbers have been appearing on the top right corner of my screen when I go to play a video. I have never had a problem with VLC before and now I cannot figure out what these numbers are and how to get rid of them. They start at zero and then it jumps up and few numbers and lands on 26 usually. If anyone knows how to get rid of them please let me know?? Thanks.

Hi, had the same problem and searching I found your question. What I have done to get rid of them is to disable "Ati tray Tools" software. In my case, I closed that program and red/yellow numbers disapeared. To be able to use "Ati Tray tools" and vlc, you have to disable an option in "Ati Tray Tools".
Go to "Tools & Options" --> onScreen Display. In this menu I unchecked "Enable onScreen Display" and press Ok.
