I enter the command OPEN NETWORK STREAM, enter the protocol and the url. I get an error message--can't open. Same thing happens with every url, all of which I have been using in The KMPlayer with no problem. What's wrong? Using Version 1.0 with WinXP

The syntax of the network stream dialog is utmostly confusing and unfriendly. I recommend using Media / Open location from clipboard instead until this is resolved...

Thanks. As I wrote elsewhere, I hope eventually VLC will include a playlist file to store urls.
