DVD playback question

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

DVD playback question

Postby MJDeViant » 28 Jul 2009 05:32

When playing a dvd, is it possible to make VLC close after the main movie instead of going back to the menu? I like to watch movies when I go to bed and I have my computer setup so it turns off monitor power and hibernates a certain time after I watch a video clip movie (.mpg, .avi, etc.) and VLC closes after the playlist(movie) is over. When I watch DVDs it just repeats the opening menu over and over. Any way around that without just ripping my dvd for the main movie only? It seems like a simple fix and maybe I'm just not seeing the control/option to do it anywhere.

It should be possible in 1.0.0 from the menu.
