Hi all,

Im in the process of designing an application for Mac OS X, and was wondering if there is any way to incorporate the VLC decoding engine to some degree so that i can play back DIVx files in the App much the same way as I can Quicktime files.

Does anyone have any experience with this? In essence I would want to use just the basic controls of VLC (play, pause, volume, full-screem etc) within the other App.

Any ideas?

We are working on a mozilla plugin, so in essence it is possible. It won't be easy at all though...
