DVB: Changing channels

Hi,

I recently started using VLC with my TV tuner. It works great, much better than any other programs I’ve tried, especially with the ability to deinterlace the signal.

One rather annoying problem however is changing channels. There doesn’t seem to be any shortcut/hotkey to achieve this, I have to go to >Playback>Program>Channel each time.

Searching hasn't really revealed anything, just some posts about Linux users making playlists of channels with some additional app and this forum post, unfortunately neither have helped.

I understand VLC isn't primarily made to be a TV viewer, but surely there is a way.

Am I missing something obvious?
