Japanese Subtitles

Postby norwasian » 16 Jul 2009 07:12

I am trying to watch a movie with japanese subs. I have made sure that the encoding in the subtitle file and VLC are encoded properly (shift jis), and the sub file load, except all the text is in squares.

I am running vista. Any ideas?
