DVB Subtitles: Delay when turning on

Postby durzagott » 14 Jul 2009 13:41

When watching Astra DVB-S streams in VLC, I often turn on the DVB Subtitles track. However the subtitles often take around 5 seconds before they actually appear on screen.

Is there anyway to configure this delay?

PS: I don't mind recompiling if the setting is in the source code.

No, this is because I think that VLC is waiting for the new set of subtitles to show them.

Ah right, I see. That makes sense.

Thanks J-B.
