Playlist with fractions of videos

Is it possible to have a playlist of video-fractions. I know, that there is the option of having a --start-time / --stop-time for a single video. But I could not find out, whether it is possible to do something similar for a sequential list of videos. When directly generating a playlist, I can’t find an according option. I don’t know too much about playlist files like m3u, xspf, …., but at a quick survey, I couldn’t find this option neither.
