iPhone 3G S and VLC

hi all,

this clip plays back better in QuickTime than VLC (WinXP)

something to do with orientation, onboard cropping or some other undocumented feature that isn't included in VLC at this time.

Seems like the rotation flag for QuickTime files. This is currently not supported indeed. I have created a ticket.

any progress on this?

I would really like to see VLC honor the rotation flag on iPhone 3GS videos.
