Slide Video downwards while playing 16:9 on 4:3

Postby Powerpipp » 21 Jun 2009 14:16

Hello,

first of all I want to introduce myself. I'm a student from Germany.

My Problem:
I'm using an beamer with an ratio of 4:3, while I'm playing a movie in 16:9 I'll naturally get those black straps above and below the video.
I'll want to slide the video downwards so that there'll be no black strap below but a double as thick one above the video.

Is this possible?

Sincerely Philipp

I don't think that's possible yet, but, there's a topic in the VLC media player Feature Requests subforum wich asks for the same thing, only he wants the video at the top -> viewtopic.php?f=7&t=61119
