"Next Chapter" does not move to the next title

Hi, I've ripped a DVD (DreamWorks's Madagascar) using CloneDVD and reorganized the sequence of the titles using PgcEdit. I've included the main movie and a bunch of the special features. It plays fine in Media Player Classic, but when I try to click through the DVD to test the sequence of the special features using VLC, I reach one title where hitting the next chapter just takes me to the beginning of the current title. Any suggestions? Thanks!
PS. I have unticked the option "Start directly in menu". Before that I couldn't get anything to work.
