1.
Can I get VLC to respond to my media keys like (or rather instead of) WMP, i.e. no matter which program is on top it will still pause/play when I press that button? It works as long as VLC is on top. I have a Logitech LX 710 (if that matters).

2.
Is there a program I can use to rip the music I play through internet radio (like for instance StreamRipper for WinAmp)?

3.
Why doesn't VLC always present the current artist and song when I listen to internet radio? It takes a while for it to load it, and until I upgraded my keyboard drivers pressing play/pause made it load that information somehow (I couldn't get my media keys to work with the play/pause quick key function at all before that). But now I can't find out which artist is currently playing and it displays the one that played when VLC started...

P.S. I'm not sure it's the right board 'cause I'm new to the site, and sorry in that case. D.S.

1. Use VLC 1.0.0-rc1
2. VLC
3. Use VLC 1.0.0-rc to fix this bug.

I downloaded VLC 1.0.0-rc1 and now it shows media information. Thanks!

But somehow WMP has locked my keys so I can't use them for VLC. How do I free them up?

Also, how do I use VLC's built-in ripper?
