I want to start up VLC with rc interface and all my streaming command line arguments set etc..

...but not actually start playing until until i instruct VLC to play through the rc interface.

Is this possible please?

vlc -Irc doens't start anything and then using "add" you can add other stuffs in the interface... Or use vlc://pause
