So not to clutter forum unneccessary,I`ll put it in one topic.

1. When I add Youtube link via Ctrl+N,playing starts fine,but after few seconds,all freezes,while slider continues.

2. Launching Check for Updates... always returns An error occurred while checking for updates.

3.I have one big .MP3 file and his accompanying .CUE file with track definitions(start and end).However,if I drop .CUE file on playlist,everything is loaded fine,but when I click on individual track,playing starts from beggining and it plays entire .MP3 file.

4.When I drop .M3U file on list,it isn`t automatically preloaded.Same applies for .CUE file above.

By the way,to avoid just finding flaws,VLC does not lock nonplaying files/folders previously played as Winamp do.

Fill bugs or 3 and 4.

How do you mean?

1. is because you don't have enough bw
2. is an error on our side
3. is a bug
4. is normal if you didn't change the policy.

1.Yes.It works fine with smaller file.
2.I don`t see how.Maybe it has something to do with my ISP.
4.Option "Automatically preparse files" is checked.

Yes,on its options.

"As soon as track is added" in preparse options?

Yeah,that too is checked on Preferences>Interface>Privacy/Network Interaction,but I was refering to Show settings/All>Playlist.

5.Association Setup for setting program to be default opener for files has no effect.

3.Update:if I add directory via Play list command Add directory it starts to preparse files,but extremely slowly - maybe it is not VLC related but because of my very slow PC?Also,length of file isn't read in advance.
