No audio options on .TS video

Hi, I have a 1080 copy of Wanted and am trying to play it on VLC 0.9.8a. This is my first .ts Ive tried to use. Usually to get sound i have to click on audio tab and select stereo. For this file tho there are no selectable audio options. I have a fairly new up-to-date win Xp system. Other blu ray movies play no problem. The file is 17gb's alot bigger then the other blue rays Ive watched. This is not my ripping job so i dont know if the file even has audio on it. Just wanted to try and find out if there is something i can do to enable audio or is the file the issue. Would be good to know for future movies if i have this problem again.

Thanks for your time any response is appreciated.

You should try with 1.0 development versions.

i jumped the gun on my last reply the new vlc did get sound on movie but it is very choppy i followed other suggestions like adjusting the ffmpeg option with no luck i have 7 gb of ram 2.7 ghz 62 x2 dual amd and dual geforce gt 8500's it seems random when the movies stutters not at only a high motion part when movie is playing my comp does run at about 50-60% one thing i was wondering is i know windows only registers 3 gb of ram but the video cards use the full 7 gb is this true when watching a movie?

Thanks again for your time and suggestions
