How do you install the VLC media player plugin for Mozilla under Mac OS X? I'm using version 0.7.0, if that helps.

seriously.

I was wondering the same thing. It says "CVS only" on the features grid last time I checked. So you probably need to build your own. Then the plugin would probably require you to have a copy of the mozilla source to which you would link stuff, I think. Not completely sure though.

Running problem

I just downloaded VLC and after converting the files i wanted to play, nothing happens. The controls on the program change as if it were playing, but no screen appears or sound plays....what could be wrong?

I take it you have used VLC to transcode some media file. If so, you might need to switch off the "advanced output" box in the open screen.

the mozilla plugin wasn't release ready yet. It 'kinda' works, but is very unpolished and bulky atm, so i held it back untill it works better.
So it's experimental and only available to those who build from source.
