Rip Audio From CD, nothing happens

Postby ________ » 11 Feb 2009 16:42

Whenever I try to rip a track from an audio cd, it... does nothing. It says it's streaming, and just stays like that. I've tried following the tutorials that are everywhere, but it just - no file created, nothing happens. And no error messages, either. I have the newest vlc version, is there a *new* way to rip things? Or doesn't it work for cds? I'm really confused, can anyone help?

Save/Convert. Don't transcode and select WAV as file format.

I've think I've tried your suggestion, though I'm not quite sure what transcoding is. It still doesn't work, however.

Edit: But thank you for the effort, taking the time and all.
