Hi

I'm using VLC 0.9.8a on Windows XP Pro SP2.
Problem: The VLC time bar runs much too fast while playing a determined mpg file. Pictures and sound are okay.

Yes, the overall duration (3:42 minutes) is correct for the determined music video file.

1/ Does it happends only with this file or with every ?
2/ What happen when the slider goes at the end of the time bar ?

If it's only with one file, could you share it ?

It only happens with this file.
2/ What happen when the slider goes at the end of the time bar ?
The playback progresses normal.

Now, I have uploaded the "problem file" to my filefront account.
Download: http://files.filefront.com/Example+vide ... einfo.html
(the file extension is .mpg not .wbmp)

Sorry but it's seams that the video is broken so it's not the fault of vlc.

The filefront online flash player can play the whole video, though with latency, but it works.
