JVLC Graphics Overlay

Postby Gawain » 16 Jan 2009 17:04

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding JVLC. I want to overlay the video with Graphics. Is that possible? I have several jvlc-canvas' in one JPanel. My idea was to paint the graphics in the paint-method of the panel.

Has anyone experience with this issue?

Thanks a lot for helping me!

Is it now possible to overlay the video with VLC 1.0?

You can always create an alpha-channel window on top of the VLC video output. Whether this works depends on the underlying windowing system and hardware.
