There is a problem with the Transformation Filter while playing DVDs.
The menu of the DVD is not properly transformed, so you cant click and therefor not navigate.

Use DVD "with no menus" option.

Thanks for the hint, but this way you cant select the language etc.
This is for a diy video projector which is mounted backwards for maximum light througput.
The problem in vlc is, that with option vlip the image ist mirrored vertical but the menu ist mirrored vertical and horizontal.
I created a small Auto-It scrip, that compensates that.

Yes, you can select the language afterwards.
