Retrieving Information In RC Interface

I need the command to retrieve the artist, album, and other information in the RC interface. I've tried the info command, but it did not appear there.

well i just realized i cant use that either
can you tell me at which version did vlc not return meta-information?
i made an interface script for mIRC, and this information is necessary for the now-playing portion of the script.
