About media library

A nice new feature of vlc 0.9 is the library,but i have some questions:
1-When i open the playlist/library clicking on the button i always see "playlist" selected....then i switch to library but i must do this every time i open vlc.Is it possible to make vlc to remember last section i visited?
2-How can i refresh the files of the folders i have in the library? i often add ad delete songs and videos so the content changes frequently and i have to refresh.
3 (for the future) Before vlc 0.9 coming out i read somewhere you wanted to do a library in Windowsmediaplayer style (embedded)......are you still working on that? it would be nice
