Bug: Crop video doesn't reflect in window size

Hi,
When you crop a video the window size still stays at the original aspect ratio.
E.g. you have a TV recording where the file is 4:3 but the actual show is 16:9. The window aspect ration still stays at 4:3 and cannot be resized so a different aspect ratio.
That leaves annoying black borders at the top and bottom edges making the crop feature almost useless as it doesn't save any screen space. It's just real black (TM) instead of the almost-black from the video.
I'm using VLC 0.9.6 on OS X 10.5.5.
I don't have a Windows machine where I could confirm it.
Thanks!
