Problem with large MTU and RTP/RTSP

Hello,

I'm using an RTSP/RTP server to stream h264 video and VLC to connect to it and play the video.
Everything goes fine if server network MTU is less than 10 000 but VLC doesn't show any video if MTU is larger.
I tried to change MTU in settings->Input/Codecs->Network settings->"MTU of the network interface" but it doesn't help.

Do you ave any idea what options I have to change to make VLC work in RTP with large MTU?

Thanks.

Are you sure it's not a problem on the receiver?

Anyway, I doubt it's ever been tested with bigger that 9kb packets.

It works fine on the receiver connecting with quick time. It looks to me like a problem in VLC.

On the receiver side, VLC supports up to 64kb per packet. Works fine here.

Ok, thank you very much for testing. I'll do more tests to check why my rtp stream is working with quick time and not VLC client.
