Dirac on the list

Postby ghell » 09 Nov 2008 14:46

Dirac's site states that VLC 0.9.2 can play it. I haven't tried this myself but if it's true, it should probably go on the VLC feature page along with the list of operating systems that it plays on.

Also, vorbis playback (on Windows, at least) has been buggy for quite a while (it was on 0.8.6 and is still on 0.9.6). The start is cut off and the running time is incorrectly displayed. Both of these should be easy to fix (with libvorbis you can get the running time in a couple of lines of C, for example).

I tried posting this to the mailing list recently because any other form of bug trackers (and the forum) were down but I got no response at all.

Yes, the feature page is not up-to-date.

I'm going on the theory that it's not going to get up to date if nobody says anything ;)
