Colors are off in vlc player?

Postby ozthegreat » 31 Dec 2003 20:26

This is kind of wierd... just downloaded vlc so i could play LOTR ROTK but there seems to be a greenish tint to everything and it's really annoying. I tried adjusting the brightness and contrast and hue but i had no idea what i was doing really... ive played some other video in it now and everything i try to play has a greenish tint

I think im using all the default options (i did a reset all after i fooled around a bit) and im using direct x 8.1

When i run these other files in another program the colors are fine.

Thanks in advance

Try resetting your proferences file. It is called vlcrc, and is located somewhere in your Document and settings directory (sorry not to be more specific, don't have any Windows around...)
