Random Play

First off, I'm using VLC for Windows, but I don't know if this is Windows issue (doubt it).

My player is stuck at playing Random every time I open it, which is obviously bothersome when I want it to play a Playlist in order.

I know you can set the player to have it always play Random (Preferences->Show all settings->Playlist->"Play files randomly forever"), but I do not have that box checked.

How can I stop the always random play?

After days of trying, I guess I figured it out.

For people who will/did have this problem, the procedure that I went through:
1) Open VLC Playlist
2) Change to non-random
3) Save Playlist - playlist.xspf
4) Close VLC
5) Open playlist.xspf
6) Open preferences
7) Save preferences and playlist (making sure that Random forever is unchecked)
8 ) Close VLC
Solved

I'm sure this was a long way of doing it, but it worked.

Problem being, I can't Un-Shuffle.. the Shuffle/Random button just won't click so it's stuck on shuffle.

Uninstall - delete all preferences - reinstall - that's it!

In addition: after uninstall use Ccleaner to clean the register thoroughly and also temp files and so on. It might be better to boot the machine and then do the cleaning again. And after that reinstall.
