Configure RTP ports for video and audio streaming

Hi,

Is possible to configure the range of ports VLC uses when serving and/or getting RTP streams through VLM/VLC? For example, when any client wants to get a VoD RTP stream, AFAIK, client uses RTSP setup messages to ask for receiving video and audio streams through different ports. So I need to configure the ports (the range) that VLC uses to do such streaming.

Could I configure the audio and video ports where I want to receive such streams with any command-line option ("vlc rtsp://IP:PORT/mediaID [options?]")?

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you all.

Hi,
Currently I am streaming Audio and Video Elementary stream to VLC on different RTP ports. VLC is playing audio whereas video is getting stuck. Can anyone tell me port settings / configuration in order to receive audio & video in different ports.
