media player in name

just wondering, but for it to be a proper application name like the rest of the programs, should it not have "media player" capitalized? nott a big deal or anything, but it is a bit irritating.

Because it just seems proper. Names are capitalized. Whether it be programs or anything else. And with a program as nice and VLC, it seems a shame to not see it having "correct grammer" in it's own name.

No, the name is "VLC media player" not "VLC" Media Player, so there is no grammar to decide on a registered name.

You wouldn't tell Microsoft that Microsoft Office should be office, because it is a current name?
