Transcoding from MPEG2 TS with vlc 0.9.2?

Hi,

I have a newbie question that doesn't seem covered by the wiki, or already in the forums.

I have several MPEG2 TS files. I would like to transcode them to MPEG2 TS, to be able to easily convert them to whatever (mpeg4 xvid, probably) with whatever software I need to (since most don't handle TS).

I knew how I was supposed to do that in the previous version, it never worked for me.

I'm hoping to be able to do it with the new 0.9.2, but I still can't, I'm probably doing something wrong. Can anyone give me a step by step process on how to do that, please?
