Desktop sharing

Postby pil91 » 02 Oct 2008 11:40

As I'm newbee with VLC, I should know if ma approach to manage my project is the right ?
I would like share my desktop and stream it through à lan.
Exactly share my desktop, stream it to a server, (unicast), who is in charge to stream to the whole lan, (multicast).
Does VLC alone, is enough to do that, or VLVC should be an help to succeed.

Thanks for your reply.

If you want to stream it one-way (without userinteraction and client streamback) vlc should be enough. (You are looking for the "screen" input module.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
