lirc: pause not working in 0.9.2?

i try to setup lirc to control vlc. until now all seems to work, with one exception: i cannot use the pause function.

when i use a combination of key-play / key-pause, the play-key toggles play...and the pause-key does exactly the same :(

when i use key-play-pause it seems to toggle a very short pause and then plays again (also indicated by osd) - fiddling around with repeat and delay-values did not help.

other keys like volume up/down, fullscreen, stop, quit seem to work without any problems.

i use vlc 0.9.2 on kubuntu hardy, remote+receiver: twinhan magic box with config file from the lirc-website.

anyone else facing this problem, any ideas?

thank you in advance.

Could you file a bug report on http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ ?

there were no hotkeys set for 'play' and 'pause' (in vlc). i used 'o' and 'q' since they seemed to be unused before and it works fine now. (i took the hard way via changing libvlc-module.c and recompiling, but i assume a change in the vlc hotkeys options will do the same, just way faster. it was just too easy for me to think of  )
