When in minimal view Ctrl + O (open file short cut) does not work.

Not sure what other shortcuts dont work but the majority are fine.

Yes. This is why you have the right click.

All interfaces shortcuts will not work on the minimal view.
A trick is to click on the bar, and they will work.
