jvlc video encoding

Postby kap2 » 18 Sep 2008 15:11

hi,

i need to encode a video (that means i have a lot of images and want to create a video out of the images). more precise, i've created an opengl animation and want to save it as a video.
i need to use java, so i searched for a good library. the first thing i found out was that the java media framework should not be used ;)

so my question is, if the jvlc only can play and convert videos or if it is also possible to create videos? i would prefer a format like mpeg or any avi based format.

if that is not possible, do you know a library that allows that?

thanks, kap
