Continue Current Content When Adding to Playlist

Hey everyone,

First off, I'd like to thank the devs for an awesome release of VLC! I just have one question:

Say I have a file playing in an instance of VLC, and I want to add files to play after this file. Is there a setting so when I drag the files I'd like to play next in VLC, it doesn't abandon the current playing file to go to the new content?

Much thanks!

Mike

I don't think that we have a setting to default to append to playlist when drag'n'dropping a file. That would make a nice Feature request.

Oh I had no idea :) Thank you for your response, it's not a huge deal at all.

Ok, well people have been talking about it. Due to internal VLC technical reasons that feature won't make it in the 0.9.x series but it will in 1.0.0.

Cheers,

That's odd, it worked in 0.8.6

Well, in 0.9.3, if you drag to playlist, it will continue current content.
