About Audio On Track 2

Postby Nmae13013 » 07 Sep 2008 02:49

I have been using VLC for a long time. I been wondering if there is a way to keep the Audio>> Audio Track>> Track 2 selected once and only once for a playlist that i like to listen to all the video files in the Audio Track 2. I don't like switching back from Audio Track 1 too Audio Track 2 after each file has finished playing and switches to the next one. Is there a way to fix this or temp. do this? Thanks for your concern ~Name13013

You can use the command line --audio-track 1 to default to the 2nd audio track (track numbers start from 0 internally).
You can also change that value in the preferences in Input/Codecs (you need to tick the "Advanced options" check box).
Last but not least, if you're using an m3u playlist, you can prepend a "#EXTVLOPT :audio-track=1" line to each of your lines.
